Lauren and Brian are engaged!

When Lauren asked me to take engagement photos for her I was SO excited!  I have known Lauren for about four years from my other life–work–at the UW Hospital.  Everyone has been rooting for her to meet the man of her dreams since I met her and when it finally happened I don’t know anyone that was not excited for her!!  She is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet–and if you need a to find a new primary care person she’s your girl! Two more tests and she’ll be the best Nurse Practitioner in town!

When the day finally came to meet up with Brian and Lauren, I was two days out from the worse case of strep throat I had ever encountered!  After a few frantic calls to the dr. and pharmacists, I was cleared to meet with them without the fear of spreading my sickly infection.  {{thank gosh}}.  So we met and headed to the Pheasant Branch Conservatory path in Middleton.

It was a horridly hot and HUMID, and the mosquitoes were awful.  (In fact I ended up having to edit out several mosquitoes attacking faces from this session!)  But thanks to my session with Ethan and Aiden I was prepared with bug spray!  However, now I have learned that I do need to pack gum in my equipment bag too–for the case of bug-spray-in-the-mouth!

Thanks for being such troopers Brian and Lauren!  You guys could not be cuter!
