Madison Wisconsin wedding photographer {First Unitarian Society, non-traditional wedding}

As their wedding day approached we were 99% sure we’d get rained out.  But, for once, I wasn’t really too worried. Why? Because Aaron and Emily are perhaps the most organized and planned out couple I have ever worked with.  Not only did they have a back up plan, I’m pretty sure they’d come up with a back up plan for their back up plan.   And that my friends? Music to my type-A ears!!

I arrived to their home where they were getting ready and it was an awesome laid back atmosphere with little worry about the weather and a loving ‘see-ya-later’ to their cat children we were off to take some pictures.  I couldn’t believe how lucky we got with  the weather, the light, the atmosphere, everything.  It was perfect.  All day we dodged rain clouds at the appropriate times.  When were able to grab some amazing shots at Tenney Park in Madison, and then head to the First Unitarian Meeting house for the ceremony.  By the time we made our way to the Reception at the Monona Community Center, the rain made its appearance, only to clear up just in time for me to grab some evening shots right before I left.

Someone had their backs, and rightfully so.  Emily and Aaron are a lovely couple surrounded by SO many great people who traveled from all over to celebrate with them.  The love throughout the day was almost palpable.
