When Elyse contacted me about taking her engagement pictures I was so excited. I could tell instantly she was pretty laid back and awesome and when she said they both liked being on the water, fishing, and hanging out with their k-9’s my heart MAY have gone pitter-patter. I knew I had to jump on the moment and encourage them to do all of those things–without hesitation, they were all in!
These two are from the Minnesota and Michigan and just met by chance, but when Kory took Elyse looking for shells along the Florida shore it didn’t take long for Elyse to find “Marry Me” inside a beautiful shell! Without hesitation she said “yes!” and they became set to wed this April in beautiful Michigan. We couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous night to take engagement pictures. I held my fingers crossed for days that the mosquitoes wouldn’t be bad and I think it worked. I had so much fun hanging out with this gorgeous couple and we got such awesome shots that I am going to split their session up into two posts! Check back next week for some more sweet love!
