Milwaukee Wisconsin Wedding Photographer: Rachel and Alex’s Wisconsin Country Club wedding

I was so excited to be referred to Rachel and Alex to photograph their Wisconsin Country Club wedding in Milwaukee Wisconsin this passed summer.  After many email correspondences, and a leap of faith from Rachel we finally met ON HER WEDDING DAY!  I was very nervous, because I usually meet with my brides three times in person prior to the big day; but due to schedule conflicts and distance Rachel was comfortable waiting until the big day.  In the end, it worked out just fine and it didn’t take long for me to realize that Rachel and Alex were some of the sweetest people I’d meet.

They both seemed extremely calm, and laid back, and just ready to get married.  Rachel was glowing, and absolutely stunning in her wedding gown.  Nothing was getting in the way of their big day–not even a little rain.  Before the ceremony I checked the radar, because the skies looked dark on the horizon, and feared we’d have a wet wedding.  However, clouds parted and sun shined down just long enough to say “I do!” and as if their angels were watching out for them, the rain started as soon as they made their way to shelter.  What is it they say? Rain on your wedding day is good luck every day.
