Chilly winter family session at CaPaul’s tree farm, Waunakee Wisconsin

I was shocked when these guys contacted me again–we had a session scheduled in 2016 and had to reschedule due to weather twice, and then by the time we could get together, I was VERY PREGNANT with my third baby and not really allowed to shoot.  I know they were really disappointed it didn’t work out and I was totally bummed I may have potentially lost these awesome people as clients.  When I heard from Libby again this past fall I was ecstatic! Even more so when she suggested she really wanted to head to a tree farm.  I called over to CaPaul’s in Waunakee and they are so kind and generous and didn’t hesitate to invite us on over for our session.  It’s a great farm with beautiful trees–you should check them out!

It was a really chilly afternoon for photos but these three really hung in there–they were so cooperative, happy and energetic–I loved it!  We were able to get some great images in just about a half an hour then home to hot chocolate and fire.
